Tess Bolt is a lifelong athlete, former competitive martial artist with a black belt, fifteen-year full time yogi, and mountaineer. She writes about what she knows and what she lives — training, eating, recovering, and refusing to accept "good enough" from her body, or anyone else’s. She knows the human body is a machine.
When she's not writing, she's training. When she's not training, she's either on a mat, in meditation, or on a mountain ridge. Many times before the sun rises.
